Pascal EPPE (Belgium)
Zirconia implant, a preventive strategy for peri-implantitis
- Lecture in French with simultaneous English translation.
- RIZIV Accreditation 10 UA (Domain 1)
Immune aspects of zirconia implantology and peri-implantitis.
How to develop and propose a biological and medical approach in implantology? What are the keys to success in the management of prostheses on zirconia implants?
How can we detect and manage risk cases? The conference will address implant planning to prevent peri-implantitis. Presentation of clinical cases.

Dr Fabrice Baudot (France)
Evolution of prosthetic concepts on zirconia implants. Biomimetic reconstructions
- Lecture in French with simultaneous English translation
- Accreditation INAMI 10 UA (Domain 6)
Zirconia implants today are undergoing a revolution to adapt to all clinical situations and offer versatility to the general practitioner.
The biological and physical characteristics and the prosthetic concepts of these implants open the way to a biomimetic implantology closer to the natural tooth.
This conference will develop the keys of a real practice, turned towards the future, in order to be able to implement them immediately, in our practices. Presentation of clinical cases.

12:30 – 14:00
Lunch - buffet
Moderator
Mr PIERRE DELMELLE (SMD Scientific Committee)
14:00 – 15:30
Prof. Marcel Wainwright (Germany)
Difficult cases in surgery and prosthetic rehabilitation with zirconia implants. How to solve them ?
- Lecture in English with simultaneous French translation.
- RIZIV accreditation 10 UA ( Domain 6)
In this lecture, difficult surgical situations with zirconia implants and bone grafting procedures before implant placement will be discussed. When is grafting and simultaneous implant placement useful and when is it not?
In addition, the speaker will present the key steps to create long-term stability in prosthetic rehabilitation with zirconia implants and how to avoid failure after prosthetic loading.

15:30 – 16:00
Break
16:00 – 17:30
Marc Nacar (Belgium)
Interest of digital flow in prosthetic management on ceramic implants
- Lecture in French with simultaneous English translation.
- Accreditation INAMI 10 UA (Domain 7)
Digital workflow in dental practice can be defined as the use of digital technologies to facilitate, optimise and accelerate existing “analogue” clinical protocols in the dental practice.
This applies to all areas of dentistry, including implantology, and zirconia implantology in particular.
The conference will attempt to demonstrate the ease of use of digital tools (intraoral scanners, implant planning programs, CAM fabrication, milling machines and printers) in the digital workflow of zirconia implantology in daily general practice.
